Who owns the copyright and other rights of the work?You shall keep full copyright and rights to the all work you supply to us. However we do ask that you supply us with work which you own the copyright and rights to, ie: you haven't sold them to a client. |
For the one artwork to be feature in the magazine, does it have to be a newly created artwork?You do not need to create new artwork for the magazine. It is your choice what you want to send us to showcase. We would prefer if they haven't been published before, however we will accept work that has been already published. By this we mean more published in other magazines. |
Is there any specific theme or details given to each illustrator to create an artwork to be feature in the magazine?There is no themes or guidelines for artwork for the first issue. We are simply looking to showcase very talented artists. We are looking into doing some themed special editions in the future. |
Is the magazine going to be issued only online or is it possible for a print out of some sort?The magazine will be sold online from our website, but it will only be available in print. Each artist featured in the magazine will receive a free copy. |
I would love to make something personal for the magazine, but for now I unfortunately don't think I can make it. My plan is to pick one out from my latest selection of art work. Is this okay?This is fine. We don't mind if people want to create new artwork or choose from existing work. |
How can I get a issue of the magazine?The magazine will be sold through our website. People showcased in the issue will receive a free version of the magazine. |
Where is the magazine based and where will it be distributed to?We are based in England and are selling the magazine globally. |
Can I send small previews first to the submission contact and then you tell me what you would like for the zine or how does it work exactly?Yes, you can send us up to 5 low res images, or a link to your website or online portfolio. Its entirely up to you how you would like to submit work.What will happen is we shall add you to our submissions list, and if we want to use your work we shall contact you letting you know along with specs etc. We will keep everyone's contact details on our list, and even if you aren't selected to be in our first issue you may be contacted to contribute towards a future issue. Obviously you don't have to contribute if you do not wish to, and we shall not use any of your work without your permission. |
